ticket when you pre-purchase online at vail.com 14 days in advance
of your arrival. Plus, you'll get to skip the ticket window and
go straight to the lifts.
2. The Gondola
is FREE after 2:00 pm in the winter and in the summer after 5:00
pm Thursday - Saturday - take a FREE scenic ride up to the top of
the mountain to enjoy the views and the many activities offered
at Adventure Ridge.
3. In the winter,
on Wednesday nights, don't miss the FREE concert series in the streets
of Vail Village. Each week features a different act and provides
family entertainment for all!
4. FREE ski
or snowboard tips are offered for intermediate and advanced skiers
from Mid Vail at 10 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Snowboarders looking for
free tips depart from the base of Golden Peak at 11 a.m.
5. Never been
to Vail? Join a knowledgeable guide for a FREE orientation tour
designed to introduce you to the vast terrain and amenities of Vail
Mountain. This 3 hour tour meets daily at 9:30 am from LionsHead
and Vail Village and is available to intermediate and advanced skiers
and riders.
6. In the winter,
parking after 5:00 p.m. in the Village and LionsHead parking structures
is FREE! In the summer, parking is free all day, everday in the
parking structures.
7. Kids under
4 years of age ski for FREE! In the summer, kids under 4 ride the
Gondola and Vista Bahn for FREE!
8. The Colorado
Ski Museum offers a historical look back on the History of Skiing
for a mere $1 fee - that's basically FREE!
9. When you
register your kids for Ski & Snowboard School, their lift tickets
are FREE as part of the lesson package.
10. Free Vail
in-town shuttle service. Town of Vail Buses run regularly between
the eastern end of Vail Village and the western end of LionsHead.
Scheduled buses to East Vail and West Vail run frequently as well.
